Homeowner Tied Up During Break And Enter

Police are investigating after thieves broke into a Southwest Middlesex home and tied up the homeowner.

The Ontario Provincial Police says between 4am and 5am on Monday, an unknown number of suspects entered a house on Durham St. while a resident was at home.  The resident was tied up after discovering the thieves.

Police say the male homeowner was not injured, but the thieves were able to flee the scene with cash and electronics.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
