Head-On Crash Sends Three To Hospital

Three people were sent to hospital, one with life threatening injuries, after a head-on crash in Oxford County.

Oxford OPP say it happened just before 6pm on Sunday on Hwy.2 just east of Thamesford. According to police, an eastbound car crossed the centre line and collided head-on with a westbound pickup truck.

The man driving the car was extricated from the vehicle and rushed to hospital with life threatening injuries. He is in critical condition.

The woman driving the pickup, along with a male passenger, were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are still investigating.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
