Lightning Down River Lions 114-102

The London Lightning have scored back-to-back wins with a 114-102 victory over the Niagara River Lions on Thursday.

The Lightning struggled against Niagara in the first half, falling behind 50-45 at the end of the second quarter. However, London came back in the third to take a 83-78 lead and then continued their upward momentum in the final frame to earn the win.

Nick Okorie and Garrett Williamson both led London with 17 points each, while Akeem Wright and Ryan Anderson both had 16.

The Lightning return home next week to take on the Windsor Express on February 18 at 7pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
