WestJet Adding London-Vancouver Direct Flights

Londoners will soon be able to fly directly to Vancouver from the London International Airport.

It was announced Monday that WestJet will add direct flights between the two cities, starting June 29. There will be four flights a week leaving London and four each week leaving Vancouver.

"This is great news for our airport and southwestern Ontario," says Mike Seabrook, President and CEO of the London International Airport. "Vancouver is one of our top five most requested destinations from London and the direct flights will be very popular with both the business and leisure traveler."

Seabrook adds WestJet will determine in the fall whether to continue the flights, based on how often they are used.
