Dog Attacked, Then Euthanized

London police are telling residents of the east end to be be cautious after a small dog had to be euthanized following an attack by a larger dog.

Police say it happened Wednesday. The attacking dog, which was last seen around 3pm in the area of Railton Ave. and Saddy Ave., was alone and is possibly a Labrador-American Bulldog mix. It is said to have dark spots on its head and on the right side of the back of its body.

The owner of the smaller dog was also injured in the attack.

Police are asking anyone who sees the larger dog to call the London Animal Care Centre at (519) 685-1330.
