Many Road Closures, Some Buses Cancelled

The OPP previously closed eastbound Hwy. 401 from Furnival Rd. (Rodney) to Currie Rd. (Dutton) due to a crash

Emergency crews also closed Hwy. 401 at Union Rd. in both directions due to a transport crash.

As well, a transport truck rollover in ditch on side of Hwy. 2 at Thamesford blocked eastbound traffic.

School buses in Elgin, Middlesex and Oxford counties and Red Zone along with many buses in Huron Perth have been cancelled for the day. City of London school vehicles are running.

All roads have since been reopened.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
