Two Injured In Home Invasion

Police in Woodstock are looking for suspects after a violent home invasion.

Officers were called to a home on Hay St. around 9:45pm Wednesday. When they arrived, they found a man and woman who had been assaulted by three men who invaded the home. Police say the three men broke through the front door and, armed with weapons, assaulted the man and woman. They also stole electronics before taking off in a vehicle that headed east on Russell St.

The woman's injuries were considered non-life threatening, while the man suffered minor injuries.

The first suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’9” with a heavy build. He was wearing black jogging pants, a sweater, and white scarf or mask across his face.

The second suspect is described as a black male with a thin build and a black beard. He was wearing all black clothing. He was wearing a sweatshirt with the hood up.

The third suspect was described as a black male, approximately 5’8” with a very thin build. He was wearing a white mask and “salt and pepper” Roots brand track suit with the hood up over his head.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
