Lightning Fall To Express

The Windsor Express scored their fourth win in a row with a 119-112 victory over the London Lightning on Thursday.

The Lightning took a 28-14 lead in the first quarter, and extended that lead to 55-44 at halftime. But the Express stormed back in the third to take a 86-82 lead going into the final quarter.  London was able to tie things up at 98-98 with 6:19 left in the game, but the Express regained the lead and held on for the win

Tony Bennett had a game high 28 points for Windsor, while Kirk Williams Jr. had 26 points and four rebounds.

Tyshawn Patterson led London with 21 points and one rebound, and Nick Okorie had 20 points and three rebounds.

The Express will take on the Niagara River Lions next on Friday at 7:30pm. And then on Saturday, the Lightning battle the Orangeville A's at 7pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
