Amber Alert Cancelled, Child Found Safe

The Ontario Provincial Police have cancelled an amber alert following a possible child abduction incident in Orillia.

A boy, aged 8 to 13, had last been seen travelling with an adult male in a minivan on Sunday at 5:53pm. The Amber Alert was issued around 10pm.

Police say the child has since been located safe and sound.

No further information has been released.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
