City Golf Courses Opening

It's the news golfers have been waiting to hear.

The City of London says it will be opening three of its golf courses on Friday morning. The Thames Valley Classic, Thames Valley Hickory, and the Fanshawe Traditional course will open Friday at 9am. However, golfers will have to walk the courses, as carts will not be available yet.

River Road and the Quarry course are expected to open next week, depending on the weather.

Many courses in the area, including Pine Knot Golf and Country Club in Dorchester, have already opened. Others are expected to open this weekend.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
