Police Seek Suspects In Armed Robbery

Police are looking for two suspects after a financial support business was robbed in St. Thomas.

The St. Thomas Police Service says on Wednesday around 4pm, two men entered TTG Financial Solutions Incorporated located at 578 Talbot St. When one of the men produced a weapon and demanded money, a struggle ensued between him and an employee. During the fight, the other man gathered a quantity of cash and ran out of the business. The remaining suspect soon followed him toward an alley behind the building.

The employee was not injured during the robbery.

Officers attempted to track the men with a K9 unit, but were unsuccessful.

The first suspect is described as a white male, 5’9” tall, with a thin to medium build, light coloured pants and a light coloured hoodie. The other suspect is described as a male, 5’9” tall, with a medium build, and he was wearing all dark clothing.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
