Woodstock Teen Shot With BB Gun

A 14-year-old in Woodstock is charged with weapons offences after police say another teen was shot with a BB gun.

Woodstock police were called to a high school around 11:45 on Tuesday after a 14-year-old approached a group of students and tackled a 15-year-old male. The victim got up and tried to ignore the teen, but the 14-year-old pulled what appeared to be a hand-gun out of his backpack.

Police say he then shot the 15-year-old in the buttocks. The victim ran away but was shot again, in the left forearm and left shoulder. The 14-year-old put the BB gun back in his backpack and was then chased away by other students.

The 15-year-old reported the incident to a staff member at the school. Police arrived an arrested the 14-year-old.

He is charged with pointing a firearm, assault with a weapon and possession of an imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose
