Teen Charged With Weapons Offences

London police are issuing a warning about replica guns after an incident in the southeast end.

Police were called to the area of Commissioners Rd. E. and Deveron Cres. around 10am Sunday after a male teenager was spotted with a gun.

Officers found the teen and determined the firearm was actually a pellet gun.

A 17-year-old male is charged with carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a firearm or ammunition.

Police are reminding the public that all firearms, whether real or replicas, can pose a significant threat to the community. Police treat all weapons as real until determined otherwise.
