Firearms Seized By Police

London police say a raid on a home in the Masonville area turned up several firearms and pepper spray.

Officers with the Community Oriented Respone Unit and the Emergency Response Unit searched a home on Spencer Cr. on Tuesday and seized a rifle, a 20 round capacity magazine with 6 rounds of ammunition, and the pepper spray.

They also seized 12 other firearms.

Jeremy Weintraub, 31, of London is charged with two counts of possession of a firem or ammunition, four counts of unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, and possession of a firearm.

Police are still investigating.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
