Bus Routes Across University Bridge To Resume

City bus routes that cross the University Dr. bridge at Western University are set to resume this week.

The London Transit Commission rerouted their larger-scale, 60 ft. buses back on March 7 to facilitate load testing on the bridge.

The tests have since been completed and the 6 Richmond, 6A Richmond and 13 Wellington buses will now resume their previous routes starting on Tuesday.

Until then, detour routes for those buses remain in effect. Western’s limited, temporary on-campus shuttle service will also continue until Tuesday.
