Four Charged In Guns and Drugs Bust

London police say four people are facing charges after searches of four homes turned up guns and drugs.

Around 4:30am Monday, officers executed search warrants at homes on Third St., Adelaide St. N, Whitney St., and Hilton Pl. They seized two loaded handguns and a loaded semi-automatic rifle as well as 117 g of cocaine, over 114 g crack cocaine, 39 hydromorph contin capsules, and a small amount of marijuana. The total estimated street value of the drugs is, according to police, $25,445. Officers also seized approximately $11,000 in cash.

Joey Pate, 24, is charged with two counts of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking and multiple firearms offences. Nathan Wanamaker, 23, is charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of a schedule 1 substance. Dion Collins, 25, is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of a schedule 1 substance. Kayla Jacques, 25, is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
