Drug Bust In Library Washroom

A London man is facing charges after police say they caught him weighing drugs in a washroom at the Central Library.

Officers on downtown foot patrol received information Tuesday that led them to the washroom, where they found a man with a scale on his lap.

Police seized 6.5 grams of crystal meth, $350 cash, a digital scale, and a spring-activated knife.

A 32-year-old London man is charged with possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a prohibited weapon.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
