UDPATE: Police Investigating Thames Centre Crash

Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash in Thames Centre that has sent one person to hospital.

The Ontario Provincial Police say the collision involving a grey GMC SUV occurred on Hamilton Rd., east of Westchester Bourne, on Thursday around 5pm.

The Thames Centre Fire Department, the Middlesex London EMS, and OPP officers attended the scene.

A male driver had to be extricated from the vehicle and was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.

Hamilton Rd. was closed between Westchester Bourne and Ferrar Rd. while emergency crews were at the scene. The road was reopened just before 7pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
