Allegedly Impaired Father Reported By His Kids

A Woodstock man has been charged after being reported by his children for impaired driving.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on April 7, passengers in a vehicle were concerned about how their father was driving, while traveling east on Hwy. 402, near Mandaumin Rd. in Plympton-Wyoming.

Officers located the vehicle on Hwy. 402, east of Centre Rd. in Strathroy-Caradoc, and  allege the driver had been drinking alcohol. He was arrested and taken to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath tests.

A 43-year-old man from Woodstock is now charged with driving while impaired, and care or control of a vehicle over 80 mg. He has since been released with a future court date.
