Firefighters Battle Major Structure Fire

Firefighters have responded to a large structure fire at a "fire-starter" business in Parkhill.

The Middlesex Fire Department reported the blaze around 8pm on Sunday. The fire reportedly broke out at a business at 144 King St.

The facility is home to Qwick Wick, which manufactures a fire-starting product made of wax and wood chips.

Fire officials say a partial collapse of the building prompted Parkhill fire crews to request an aerial truck be brought in to help fight the blaze.

Due to the fire, the Ontario Provincial Police have closed King St. between Union St. and Albert St., and Union St. between King and Mill streets.
