Thomas Ostrowski of London has claimed the $1-million prize in the April 20 Lotto 6/49 draw.
“Two days after the draw I decided to check my ticket in the ticket checker at the store,” says Ostrowski. He later picked up his winnings from the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto.
Ostrowski says he will be treating himself with a new SUV and now has the freedom to travel.
The winning ticket was purchased at a Mini Mart on Southdale Rd.
