Pedestrian Hit By Mini-van

London police say a man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after being hit by a mini-van.

It happened just after 3pm on Dundas St. near Florence St.

"The pedestrian crossed Dundas southbound. The vehicle was heading westbound on Dundas when the collision occured," says Const. Ken Steeves.

The incident forced police to close Dundas St. between Highbury Ave. and Hale St. for close to two hours.

Police are still investigating.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
