School Bus Driver Charged In Crash

Provincial police say a 66-year-old school bus driver is charged after a crash that sent three children to hospital.

Oxford OPP were called to Road 88 at 45th Line in Zorra Township around 3:50pm Friday. Police say the school bus was crossing Road 88 when it was hit by a westbound pickup truck.

There were five children on the bus at the time. Three were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The drivers of the school bus and pickup truck were not hurt.

The driver of the school bus, a 66-year-old Embro man, is charged with failure to yield.
