Police Seize Cocaine, Pot, Oxycodone

A pair of traffic stops landed London police nearly $160,000 worth of cocaine and oxycodone.

Police stopped one vehicle near the intersection of Exeter Rd. and Bessemer Rd. and second vehicle on Ridout St. in the two separate incidents Friday.

In the south end traffic stop police seized 1.357kg of cocaine and 40mg of oxycodone, and $10 cash. In the Ridout St. stop, officers turned up 233g of cocaine, 40g of marijuana, 115 oxycodone tablets, and nearly $11,000 cash.

Two 34-year-old London men have been charged with drug trafficking offences.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
