Crash Sends Motorcyclist To Hospital

London police are investigating after a collision involving a motorcycle sent one person to hospital.

Police say on Thursday around 8:18pm, a car traveling west on Baseline Rd. E was struck by a pickup truck while turning south on to Wellington Rd. The crash caused the car to spin around and hit a motorcycle that was heading north.

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries as a result of the crash.

Baseline Rd. E and Wellington Rd. were briefly blocked, but the roadway was cleared around 9pm.

Police say charges are pending.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
