Teen Girl Assaulted On LTC Bus

For the second time this spring, London police are looking for a suspect after a young woman was assaulted on a London Transit Commission bus.

Police say the teenage girl was groped by a man on an LTC bus around noon on Thursday, May 5. The man got on the bus in the area of Springbank Dr. and Berkshire Dr. According to police, he sat in the seat right behind the victim, reached around the back of her seat, and began touching her.

She got off the bus, while the man stayed on until he left the bus in the downtown area. The victim did not report any physical injuries.

The suspect is described as a man in his 40s, 5'10", with a medium build. He had a medium skin tone and short brown hair. He was wearing a black leather jacket and black pants. He was also carrying a black backpack.

Anyone with any information about the incident or can identify a suspect is asked to call London police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.

In April, police reported the sexual assaults of four women on LTC buses. A police investigation led to the arrest of a 31-year-old man.
