Teen Seriously Hurt In Crash

An 18-year-old is in hospital with serious injuries following a single vehicle crash in Norfolk County.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on Thursday around 3:36am, a blue Pontiac car was travelling west on Colonel Talbot Rd. when the driver lost control. The vehicle entered the eastbound lanes, left the roadway and then collided with several trees.

The 18-year-old male driver from Norfolk County suffered life threatening injuries and was rushed to a local hospital before being airlifted to a hospital in London.

The investigation is ongoing.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
