Man Stabbed During Dispute With Neighbour

A dispute between neighbours in Parkhill left one man with stab wounds and another man in police custody.

Middlesex OPP say they were called to a home on John St. around 9:45am Monday after a verbal disagreement between two neighbours turned violent.

A 23-year-old man was stabbed multiple times with a knife. He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and has since been released.

The other man, a 21-year-old was arrested near the scene. He was treated for non-life threatening injuries and remains in police custody.

Police continue to investigate the incident and say charges are pending.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
