Teen Charged In Stabbing

A 16-year-old is facing charges after a boy was stabbed by a man on a bicycle in northeast London.

London police say the boy was walking in the area of Highbury Ave. and Huron St. around 7pm Monday when he was stabbed. He suffered non-life threatening injuries.

A 16-year-old male, who cannot be named because of his age, was arrested in connection with the incident on Wednesday.

He is charged with assault causing bodily harm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
