Crash Involving Bus Injures Two

A crash involving an LTC bus in southwest London has sent two women to hospital.

London police were called to the intersection of Wonderland Rd. and Exeter Rd. after the two vehicles collided around 2:15pm on Wednesday.

Two female passengers from the sedan were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Sergeant Blair Harvey says it was fortunate there were no passengers on the bus at the time.

"The LTC bus had only the LTC employee on board, who was driving. There were no citizen passengers. The LTC driver appears to not be injured," he says.

Harvey says the investigation into the cause of the crash is on-going.

"From the resting position of the LTC bus, it appears that the bus was northbound on Wonderland Rd. but beyond that I don't want to speculate on exactly what happened with the crash," says Harvey.

However, police say charges are pending.

Wonderland Rd. was closed between Wharncliffe Rd. and Exeter Rd. while emergency crews were at the scene. The road was reopened around 4:36pm.
