Guns Stolen In Break And Enter

Police are investigating after five long guns were stolen from a home during a break and enter west of London.

The Ontario Provincial Police say sometime between 12:30pm on Friday and 12:19pm on Monday, an unknown number of suspects attended the rural property on Centre Rd. in the Township of Adelaide Metcalfe, and gained access to the home through a garage.

A television and the five firearms were stolen.

The Middlesex County OPP Crime Unit and the OPP Forensic Identification Services continue to investigate this incident.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
