Police Investigating Shooting in Southeast London

The London Police Service is appealing to the public for information following a late night shooting in London.

Police were called to a townhouse complex at 796 Shelborne St. near the intersection of Highbury Ave. and Commissioners Rd. at 11:31pm Thursday after a person called 911 to report they had heard gunshots.

Police spoke to witness and determined that a taxi carrying a single male passenger was the intended target. A second, unattended vehicle in the lot was also hit with a bullet.

It doesn't appear that anyone was hit or injured by the shots.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
