Crash Involving Motorcycle and Scooter

Two people are recovering from non-life threatening injuries after a collision involving a motorcycle and a scooter.

Around 4pm this afternoon emergency personnel responded to the collision at Hamilton Rd. at Coventry Ave.

London police say the scooter was travelling east on Hamilton Rd. and when the driver attempted to turn northbound onto Coventry Ave. he was struck by a motorcycle travelling west on Hamilton.

Hamilton Rd. was closed for less than an hour and has since been reopened.

There are no reports of any charges.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
