Fire Damages Mount Brydges Library

Residents of Mount Brydges are in shock after a fire damaged the village's library Monday night.

Strathroy-Caradoc Fire Department crews responded just after 8pm.

The Municipality of Strathroy Caradoc says the fire was quickly brought under control and put out.

The library was closed at the time.

A cause and damage estimate has yet to be determined.

The Mount Brydges library branch will remain closed until further notice as the Municipality deals with property restoration.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
