Lightning Lose, Trail Hurricanes 3-1

The London Lightning now trail the Halifax Hurricanes 3-1 in their best-of-seven NBLC Finals series after losing 99-98 Wednesday night at Budweiser Gardens.

 

Akeem Scott once again led the way for London with 26 points while Stephen Maxwell contributed 20.

The final minute was a back and forth affair as each team took their turn at free throws, gaining a one point lead, but the final point was in the Hurricanes' favour.

Game 5 on Friday, June 10 is a win or go home situation for the Lightning, it's also the last home game of the season. Tickets can be purchased online or through the Budweiser Gardens box office.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
