Man Injured In Unprovoked Attack

London police are looking for a suspect and asking witnesses to come forward after a vicious beating in a downtown pizza shop.

Police say around 2am Sunday, a man was at the Little Caesar's Pizza at 605 Richmond St. when another man repeatedly punched him in the face. Other customers stopped the assault but the attacker was able to escape.

The victim was taken to hospital with serious facial injuries and had to undergo emergency surgery.

Police say the victim and attacker did not know each other. The suspect is described as a male with a tanned complexion, in his early to mid 20s, about 5'9" with an athletic build. He had a short, Mohawk haircut and was wearing a black v-neck t-shirt with gold lettering on it.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
