Police Identify Man Killed In 402 Crash

A London man had been identified as the person killed in a fiery crash on Hwy. 402.

Johnathan Wright, 34, of London was pronounced dead after two tractor trailers and two cars collided in the eastbound lanes of the highway, near Wonderland Rd. just after 3pm Monday.

Middlesex OPP say Wright was in one of the cars involved in the crash. Five other people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.

At least one of the tractor trailers burst into flames as a result of the crash. Hwy. 402 was closed for several hours following the collision. It re-opened around 10:30pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
