Suspects Sought In Assault

Police are looking for two suspects after a man was assaulted in a Woodstock parking lot.

The Woodstock Police Service says on Thursday around 4am, a 45-year-old man was driving his truck along Keyes Dr., when he came upon two young men who were riding bicycles and taking up most of the roadway. The driver honked his horn and passed the two suspects who had approached his vehicle. The victim pulled into the parking lot of a business and was assaulted when he exited the vehicle.

The victim was treated in hospital for his injuries and then later released.

The two suspects who committed the assault are described as being in their late teens, early 20s.

One is 5'10"-6' in height, with a stocky muscular build and blonde bushy hair. He was last seen wearing a brown baseball cap.

The other suspect is described as having being 5’10”-6’0” tall, with a stocky build and brown bushy hair.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
