OPP Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Hwy. 402 Crash

Provincial police are asking for the public's help as they continue to piece together the cause of a fiery crash on Hwy. 402 that claimed the life of a London man.

Middlesex OPP are appealing for anyone with information leading up to, during, or after the June 27 crash in the eastbound lanes of the highway, near Wonderland Rd. to come forward.

"At this time, the investigation is still ongoing," says Constable Adam Crewdson. "As part of the investigation charges could certainly come out and this is why we are doing a thorough investigation and reaching out to the public."

Johnathan Wright, 34, of London was pronounced dead after two tractor trailers and two vehicles collided just after 3pm. Five other people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Anyone who witnesses the crash or has information about what happened is asked to call Constable Douglas of the Middlesex OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
