East End Hosting Summit To Improve Neighbourhood

Ways to overcome challenges and improve London's east end will be discussed at length during a summit later this week.

Neighbourhood groups, businesses, and residents will come together on Thursday night for the East End Summit being held at the BMO Centre on Rectory.

Organizers of the summit say it will consist of five presentations centered around subjects that affect east Londoners on a daily basis including, food, housing, education, culture, and community development.

A news release for the event states "an emphasis will be made on achieving positive change through action as a meaningful response to your insights and ideas."

All feedback gathered during the summit will be compiled into an official report by the London Institute.

The summit is free to attend. It begins at 6:30pm on Thursday.
