Man Injured In Hwy. 401 Ramp Crash

A man was taken to hospital after a tractor trailer and a car collided trying to get onto Hwy. 401 in London.

Middlesex OPP say the two vehicles were on the westbound on-ramp from Veterans Memorial Parkway around 11pm on Thursday when the front passenger side of the big rig clipped the rear of the car.

The truck driver was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The driver of the car was not hurt.

The on-ramp was closed for roughly five hours as police investigated the cause of the crash and removed debris. It was re-opened around 4am on Wednesday.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
