Police Seek Potentially Dangerous Man

Police in St.Thomas are searching for a 39-year-old man considered potentially dangerous.

James Joseph Clarke of Guelph is wanted for being unlawfully at large.

He was spotted twice on Monday in St. Thomas. First around 7:30pm in the area of St. Catharine St. and Talbot St., then again around 9:20pm in the area of Burwell Rd. and South Edgeware Rd.

Clarke is described as white, 5'8'', 255 lbs, with a heavy build, brown eyes, and short brown hair. He has a large Celtic cross tattoo on his left forearm, and a mermaid tattoo on his back. He was last seen wearing a blue and white plaid shirt, blue jeans, and red and black running shoes.

Police advise anyone who sees Clarke not to approach or make contact with him but to immediately call 9-1-1.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
