Woman Dies After Being Hit By LTC Bus

A 56-year-old woman is dead after she was hit by an LTC bus.

London police say it happened Monday night around 10:30 at Clarke Rd. and Whitney St. The bus was going south on Clarke Rd. when the driver turned left into the Argyle Mall parking lot. That's when the bus struck the woman as she walked. She was rushed to hospital with serious injuries. Police say she later died in hospital.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
