Severe Thunderstorm Watch Ended

A severe thunderstorm watch has ended for London.

Environment Canada issued the watch for London-Middlesex around 4am on Friday.

The national weather agency said scattered thunderstorms that developed suddenly during the overnight hours had the potential to become severe. However they passed with nothing more than a little rain and a light show in the sky.

The watch was cancelled at 5:30am.

A heat warning remains in effect for all of southern Ontario.
