Victim Identified In Fatal Glendon Dr. Crash

Provincial police have identified the driver killed in a head-on crash southwest of London.

Monica Kimble, 52, of Southwest Middlesex died after her westbound car collided with an eastbound SUV in the eastbound lanes of Glendon Dr., west of Thames Rd. around 2:20pm on Monday.

Kimble was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the SUV, a 66-year-old woman, and her 65-year-old male passenger, both from Southwest Middlesex, had to be cut from the wreakage. The man was airlifted to hospital where he remains in critical condition. The woman was taken to hospital and is currently listed in fair condition.

Glendon Dr. between Thames Rd. and McArthur Rd. was closed until approximately 7:30 p.m.

Middlesex OPP say the cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
