Woman Killed In Head-On Crash

Middlesex OPP are investigating after a head-on crash west of London that claimed the life of a Middlesex County woman.

Emergency crews were called to Glendon Dr. west of Thames Rd. around 2:21pm Monday. A black, Ford car was heading west on Glendon Dr. when it collided head-on with an eastbound Ford SUV in the eastbound lanes.

The driver of the car, a 52-year-old Southwest Middlesex woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the SUV, a woman from Southwest Middlesex, was taken to hospital. A man in the passenger seat was also hospitalized. Both suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Glendon Dr. was closed between Thames Rd. and McArthur Dr. for several hours.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
