Firefighters were called to an apartment at 630 Huron St. early Thursday morning. They found an unresponsive woman and performed CPR until an ambulance arrived.
The woman was rushed to hospital but died.
An investigation is underway.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
