Teen Killed In Single-Vehicle Rollover

A 16-year-old boy is dead following a single-vehicle rollover crash west of London on Sunday.

Thomas DeCoste of Middlesex Centre died after the vehicle he was riding in on Oxbow Dr. between Coldstream Rd. and Nairn Rd. rolled several times just after 6am. Middlesex OPP found the vehicle in the ditch.

DeCoste was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver, a 40-year-old man from Middlesex Centre, was airlifted to hospital and has since been released.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

DeCoste was a student at Saint Andre Bessette Catholic secondary school in London. He is being remembered as an active member of the school's AV Club and football team.

The London District Catholic School Board tragic events response team and Saint André staff will open the school from 12pm-3pm on Tuesday to help students and community members cope with the loss.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
