London firefighters were called to the eight-storey building at 1180 Commissioners Rd. just before 2am on Wednesday.
The blaze, on the balcony of a third floor unit, was extinguished quickly. No one was injured but the heat from the fire shattered a patio door and melted a set of blinds.
