Knights To Hold Championship Parade

The London Knights are planning another celebration of their Memorial Cup win.

The team announced Wednesday that it will hold a parade to celebrate the players, coaches, and staff receiving their championship rings. The celebration and parade will be held on Thursday, August 25.

It will begin with a parade that starts at 2pm. The parade will start at city hall, travel down Dufferin St. to Wellington Rd., before heading down Queens Ave. to Talbot St. It will end at Jubilee Square in front of Budweiser Gardens.

From 3pm to 4pm, there will be an autograph session at Budweiser Gardens. The team will then hold its award ceremony from 4pm until 5:30pm.

The Knights defeated Rouyn-Noranda 3-2 in the final of the 2016 Memorial Cup in May.
